el3ment is a music creator discovery platform where producers find vocalists, beatmakers find composers, and collaborators find each other
- filtered by genre, instrument, role, and location, with the ability to sample each artist's work before connecting.
The problem music creators don't have a tool for
No platform for musicFinding the right collaborator in music happens through word-of-mouth, chance encounters, and luck. No platform was built for this - generic social networks aren't optimized for audio discovery.
COVID widened the gapel3ment's founders watched music collaboration collapse when in-person studio sessions stopped entirely. They built a platform to replace serendipity with search.
Audio-first discovery
A swipeable carousel surfaces artists' hero tracks immediately - the first thing you hear is their music, not their bio. Filtering by artist type, genre, and instruments lets creators narrow the field before reading a word.
LambdaWorks architected the audio streaming layer to make sampling fast and reliable - a requirement when the entire decision is based on what something sounds like.
The matching engine
LambdaWorks built matching algorithms optimizing for genre compatibility, skill overlap, and collaboration style - not just follower count.
Map-based global discovery pins all musicians to a searchable map. Filter by city, region, or worldwide. Geography becomes a filter, not a wall.
72+ countries
All musicians are pinned to a searchable global map. Filter by city, region, or worldwide. Find who's making music near you, or find the right collaborator anywhere on earth. Geography becomes a filter, not a wall.
LambdaWorks built the matching algorithms optimizing for genre compatibility, skill overlap, and collaboration style - not just follower count or profile completeness. A team of four engineers: two on matching algorithms and recommendation logic, two on mobile infrastructure and audio streaming.
